MTA’s after-school clubs in all performing arts subjects are fun and geared towards performance with optional termly shows to invite parents, family and friends to and are ideal for Extended Schools provision.
Our after-school and holiday clubs are all about performing, giving those children who are keen to perform an ideal opportunity to work with performing arts specialists on a real show for an audience.
Our after-school clubs can be general workshops that extend the work we do in curricular time but in a fun, encouraging atmosphere more suited to a leisure time club.
However many of our schools opt for a performance-based package, so that the children rehearse in the after-school club for a short performance at the end of each term that parents can be invited along to watch.
This type of package can also be done as a holiday club during school holidays. Our team of specialist teachers, directors, choreographers and voice coaches can take the children for two, three or more days to put together a short but spectacular musical performance to be performed on the last day of the project for parents, teachers, friends and anyone else who wishes to come along.
