Stageworks early years and primary years programme StageWise is not just one fun activity but several rolled into one. Classes provide social, educational and health benefits as well as teaching exciting new skills in the performing arts.

In StageWise, children learn the first essential skills in acting, group singing and stage dance and get plenty of opportunities to show off these skills in various kinds of performances. Stagewise is equally excellent for absolute beginners and for children who have had some performing experience.

The benefits of StageWise go way beyond the stage, however. Students get to expand their cultural experiences and develop their creativity in a class that is also great for increasing confidence, improving literacy, problem solving skills and verbal expressiveness, developing social skills and the ability to work uncompetitively with others and establishing an appreciation for and understanding of the arts.

StageWise provides the ideal outlet for the creativity of more obviously imaginative and outgoing children as well as nurturing those with less confidence to lower their inhibitions and reveal their creativity.

StageWise teachers have a lot of experience of teaching young children as well as being specialists in the performing arts. They create a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment in class to encourage all students to express themselves to the best of their ability while having a great time.

There are two StageWise classes for ages 4 to 6 years and 7 to 9 years. From the age of 10 years, our students can progress to Stageworks classes, which provide the next level of training in the performing arts.
