Established in 1981, Mainstream Theatre Arts has built a proud reputation for delivering outstanding performing arts tuition in a welcoming, supportive and professional environment. Our mission is to make exceptional training accessible to every child, helping young performers grow in confidence, creativity and skill.
Whether your child wants to build confidence, develop performance skills, enjoy an exciting weekend activity or take the first steps towards a future in the arts, MTA provides the expert guidance, encouragement and opportunities they need to shine. Students also have the option to work towards internationally recognised qualifications with NATD, ABRSM, LAMDA and RSL.
Helping Every Child Shine Through Dance
At Mainstream Theatre Arts, every child is supported to shine. We keep our classes friendly and with sensible numbers, this means pupils receive personal attention, encouragement and the confidence to progress at their own pace.
From age three upwards, we offer fun, inspiring training in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Street and Hip Hop—helping children build skills, friendships and self-belief.
NATD Examinations
For pupils who want to achieve more, we offer NATD examination, from early grades and medals through to advanced dance and teacher training opportunities.
Choose from Acting, Musical Theatre, or Private Singing Lessons
Give your child the chance to build confidence, develop performance skills, and explore their creativity through Acting, Musical Theatre, or Private Singing Lessons. Families can choose one class or combine them with our Dance Academy to create a varied programme tailored to your child’s interests.
